AV Law advises Cüimo on an €8 million investment round led by Seaya

AV Law has advised Cüimo, one of the leading startups in the online sale of refurbished motorcycles, on its recent investment round led by the Seaya Andromeda fund.

The transaction, amounting to nearly €8 million, marks Seaya’s entry into the company with a significant stake. Existing investors in Cüimo, such as Hugo Arévalo (The Power MBA), Encomenda, and Lukkap, also participated in the round. The deal included both a primary transaction (capital increase) and a secondary transaction (purchase of shares from existing Cüimo shareholders). Seaya was advised by Garrigues and ILV.

Founded by Jaime Álvarez, Alejandro de la Hoz, and Enrique Adrien, Cüimo has established itself in less than two years as a key player in the Spanish sustainable mobility market, reaching €1.5 million in monthly sales while maintaining a positive EBITDA from the outset.

The transaction has received wide coverage in the specialized press, with mentions in top-tier media outlets such as Expansión, El Economista, and Cinco Días, among others.

At AV Law, we are grateful for Cüimo’s trust and proud to contribute to the growth of companies that are transforming traditional industries through technology, operational efficiency, and scalable business models.
